![]() ![]() This could mean The Family is based off people Lesley knew, or just a non-canon Easter egg. Her portrait can be seen near the Family Tree in " Family".Lesley is credited as the Script Editor for Grolton & Hovris. This makes it debatable whether or not she is actually human. Her face has several stitches with colorful thread, and there is even some stuffing poking out around her temples. It is heavily implied that Lesley has at least some control over the events in the series, and that she is either its creator, or usurped control from Roy, possibly explaining why the lessons are less horrifying and the main characters have more backbone than in the web series, which were horrifying for the purpose of punishing Yellow Guy.When Yellow Guy asks if he can stay, she tells him he is not her "real son", only to claim she was joking. She is also one of the first live action characters to directly be acknowledged by and interact with the characters as part of the storyline. However, Lesley is distinct as she is, to date, the only live-action human character with a speaking role in the entire franchise, and the second overall to be seen unobstructed after the bonfire man from the end credits of " Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 3". Live-action human actors have occasionally been seen in the series, such as in morph suits controlling the puppets in various episodes, or a brief Easter egg in " Friendship" when Warren the Eagle rewinds the episode where you can see the performers and puppet wranglers."You don't belong up here, and I'm sure you're gonna want to show your friends, aren't you?"."You are just too funny! Run along now.I always make sure that I have plenty of backups!" You help me tidy things up around here, and I'll help you, hm?" No matter how we twist and turn, we're still dancing in chains." "Batteries can be replaced, but some things stay the same. ![]() But no matter how much the wheels turn, the journey always ends up back at home." "Journeys made, and lessons learned, you may feel like you're alone."Oh, how nice! They'd like to welcome you with a gift."And look: next door are your other neighbors! And you'll get to know them all in good time, won't you?"."And here comes one of your neighbors now! I see you're already well acquainted."."Hello! New in town, are you? Well, let's get you settled.".No crimes to report today, Officer? Good." "And there goes Officer Sinclair, on his way to the station, no doubt."From the bustling marketplace to the peaceful overpass, there is something here for everyone."."Just ask anyone lucky enough to live here-they'll tell you there's no better place to wake up."."Oh, morning here in Mulhoven New Town.".Where these stairs lead is uncertain.Ī close-up of Lesley smiling. There are more stairs leading up from Lesley's floor. Yellow Guy returns to the first floor, only to get his fresh batteries replaced with the old ones unable to remember the book's significance, he shreds it. He does so, and she offers him a book written in some symbols he had created earlier, telling him to show it to his friends. She asks for his help in cleaning up, promising to help him in return. When Yellow Guy asks Lesley if she was the one who built everything, she only laughs in response and says he does not see the funny side of things. On top of the piano is a dollhouse recreation of the house with mini-figures of him and his friends. Her wall contains 3 holes which hold crucial items from the show, including the Chuddle Dollops from " Family", the shovel from " Death", and the batteries from " Electricity". She plays a piano, before introducing herself to him and telling him he is one of her favorites. She later appears in " Electricity", after Yellow Guy - who has been exploring the house after fresh batteries give him increased intelligence - encounters her on what he believes to be the top floor of the house. Her hands are also seen controlling the house at the end of the episode. Her first appearance is in " Transport", where she is heard throughout the episode in Yellow Guy's Trumpton-esque imagination. She wears red lipstick, but otherwise, minimal-to-no makeup. Her shoes resemble clown shoes that are red and have yellow shoelaces. Her pants are white with blue, black, dark green, yellow, and red patterns. She wears a thick, colorful coat with a pattern of symbols on it, a red bow tie, and white gloves. There are stitches in several places on her face, including in place of her eyebrows and on her cheeks and neck. She has very pale skin, a brown bowl cut with straight bangs, and brown eyes. Lesley is an older, presumably human woman.
